01Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and The Glow Guide governing your use of our iOS app and website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

03Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. If you sign in with Apple, your access is also subject to Apple's terms. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend accounts that appear compromised or that violate these Terms.

04License to use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.

06Your content

You retain ownership of the content you add — your Passport, products, journal entries, photos, and notes (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to provide it.

07Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• Upload harmful code or attempt to disrupt, probe, or overload the Service;
• Access the Service through unauthorized means or scrape its data;
• Misrepresent your identity or another person's; or
• Use the Service to provide medical advice to others.

08Subscriptions & purchases

Some features may be offered free and others through a paid plan. Any purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account and are subject to Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings. Except where required by law or Apple's policies, payments are non-refundable.

09Intellectual property

The Service — including its name, logo, design, text, and software — is owned by The Glow Guide and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or branding. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

10Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any score or recommendation will produce a particular result for your skin.

11Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Glow Guide and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

12Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will survive.

13Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Glow Guide is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. (Confirm the specific governing law and venue with your counsel.)

14Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When changes are material, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
